Personal Info: Born into the Deathwater Falls tribe; lost his parents at the age of twelve, after which he was raised by his grandfather, Flintrock. Once he reached the age to be interested in females, Heartseeker was repeatedly frustrated in love. Each time he thought he'd found the lady of his dreams, she'd go and Recognize someone else. After the third or fourth time this happened, Heartseeker concluded that his One True Love was not to be found at Deathwater Falls, so he set out to search for her elsewhere. While doing this, he met up with Longshanks, Bugdance, and Halfwise (Piet). The four traveled together for many years before coming to Great Water Holt; their adventures included a sojourn in Tower Mountain in TWR 1087, when they were involved in Twillor's Escape. Through Piet they also became involved in the Tower's "Crisis." When New Hope was formed, Heartseeker relocated there in order to be with Piet and his other soulbrothers. To his delight, Mouse, with whom he had lovemated at Great Water, came with him.

Heartseeker is an impulsive, warmhearted, romantic elf, rather brash and with the cocky aggressiveness of a Short Person. Physically courageous, he has some training as a warrior and is a bit of a scrapper when roused. Normally he is friendly, uninhibited, and likes a good time. Though not a serious crafter himself, he has an eye for good craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for beauty in all forms. He is intensely loyal to and protective of friends and loved ones. Attractive to the opposite sex and likes to flirt, but deep down he really wants a lasting relationship and has never stopped looking for his One True Love. (Always ready to help others find their One True Love as well.)

Heartseeker had to grapple with an ingrained distrust of humans during the early years at New Hope, given the less than friendly relations between Deathwater Falls and the Zadoshi, but he has overcome his distrust fairly well since it had never gone as far as outright hatred. He gets on well with trolls, since the Deathwater Falls elves used to trade with a group of them, and has a knack for bargaining with them. He tolerates preservers for Piet's sake.
