OTHER INFORMATION:
Quicksilver possesses an innate restlessness and likes to keep busy, preferably at an activity that is both physical and mental. Prone to cabin fever when forced to be indoors for a long period of time. Rather independent. In his childhood tended to tear around getting into everything, completely unmindful that these were people who would worry if he didn't return from who knows where in time for dinner.  A keen intelligence and boundless curiosity were the driving forces behind his endless collections. Any thing, being, or task that caught his attention
could be the object of his intense study for moons at a time. Has been known to lose interest abruptly when a new obsession comes along.

Probably the most easygoing member of his extended family.

Aquarians basically possess strong and attractive personalities. Exuberant, lively and exhibitionist, often hiding the depth of his character under a cloak of frivolity. A champion of truth, able to see the validity of an argument he doesn't happen to agree with and honest enough to change his opinion if convinced he has been mistaken. Strongly experimental by nature, a quick learner, versatile and capable.

Has a wide variety of acquaintances and very few close friends; rarely lets people in close enough to see more than the most superficial side of him.

A romantic and a serial monogamist, generally interested only in
opposite-sex liaisons. Was in his adolescence when his kid sister Snowflower first  tagged him with "the hated nickname," i.e. "the High Ones' personal gift to female elfkind." **It's a wonder I can get a female to speak to me!**

His current lover is frequently his current obsession, and he'll be madly in love with her for the duration of the relationship, be it a few eightdays or several moons. There has never been anyone so perfect, so wonderful, so right for him than her. A female who has piqued his interest can typically convince him to take a roll in the sheets with little resistance. Also relatively easy to seduce at parties, once he's eaten, danced, relaxed a little... Although he has something of a reputation as a skirtchaser, he tends, particularly in the beginning, to be more interested in getting to know females through conversation and sharing in social activities than immediate physical seduction.

A keen reader of body language. Can rarely be successfully lied to or tricked.  Gauges others' moods and thoughts well enough to avoid riling them, and so is known as easy to get along with.

Lives in a single room at Foxlair due to the tendency of people callling him out of it at all hours of the day or night for a horse foaling; occasionally has a young, single human male between the age of sixteen and early twenties for a roommate. These men eventually tend to get married and move out, however. Color scheme is blue/grey/cream, though the proportion
and intensities of each color varies at times. Bed is about the size of a double, covered in linen bedding in warm weather, leather and furs layered on top in cold weather. Splurged once upon a time on custom made silver-grey silk sheets, and has a silver fox coverlet to match. The bedding is his own and not household supply. Has a press next to his bed for the bedding, and a larger, double-sized press on the side wall for clothing.  The far wall has floor to ceiling shelves for whatever his current collection is and a few specials from previous collections. Dyed
sheepskin rug on the floor in front of his bed. Washstand with basin, pitcher and towels in corner. Towels are household supply. Room is impressively neat.

HISTORY:
Born in Recognition to Raventongue and Dove at Great Water Holt two years prior to the founding. of New Hope, he's the spitting image of his father and paternal grandfather. Grew up at New Hope, which shaped his life far more than his brief life at Great Water. Completely at ease with humans and strangers, very content with his rather pastoral existence and very absorbed with the care of animals.

From a very young age Quicksilver was trained in basic survival skills, and thus can hunt, prepare peltries, locate, gather and cook food plants, make clothing, find shelter and defend himself, all with an average degree of competency.

Always wanted to be a healer like his mother and a herder like his father. Eventually combined the two desires by becoming a veterinarian, one of the few hobbies which he never tired of. He's always been very good with animals and is frequently seen with a furkit or two commandeering his lap. Dogs trot at his heels, horses gentle more easily under his hand, even the occasional wild animal will hold still while he administers to their ills... there's nothing magical about it, he just has an affinity for beasts, and a patient and soothing manner.

Quicksilver deeply resented Hidden Valley's strongarm tactics in invading his home and bending New Hope to their will. He had a feud with Windstorm the whole time the settlement was "occupied," and had his own personal revenge and revolt all planned when New Hope finally fought them off.
