Personal Info: Fix has always wanted to fly, but no one in Spirit’s
Walk had ever manifested the Talent before. So he spent most of his
time when he was young trying to fly without gliding Talent. After
eights and eights of trial and error, Fix builds a glider that will fly.
Unbeknownst to him, he DOES have a gliding Talent, but it’s subconscious.
It’ll only work while he’s flying in his glider. With this new Talent
in hand, Fix says good-bye to his ordinary existance of home and goes exploring.
He stops by every century or so back home, but never for very long, thus
creating some estranged relationships with his family.
Fix found New Hope by accident when he clipped
his glider against the Eyrie cliffs. Steelspun was the one who found
him and he offered to help repair the glider. However, since the
glider was made of very specific materials, it would take a long time for
it to be repaired. So Fix sticks around for at least a year or two,
trying to repair his glider. While hes in New Hope, he really likes
what he sees. Its different from the other places he’s been to.
He also grows deeply attracted to Steelspun, but never says anything
to him, because he’s only going to leave as soon as his glider is repaired.
Happily, before he leaves, Fix finds out his
feelings of love are now mutual between he and Steel, so he gives Steel
his soulname and asks to be his lifemate. He gives Steel time to
decide, and stays in New Hope, waiting for Steel to make a decision.
At this point Steel is kidnapped by his hostile family members from the
Reach and his mind is completely wasted. Fix, horrfied what has happened,
does all he can to help his lifemate, even though it’s unsure if Steel
will ever function normally. Fix offers to take Steel back to Spirit’s
Walk for healing, never mind his estranged relationships with his family.
They leave, and come back around NH 330.
