Outfit(s) Most Often Worn: probably leathers while at the Enclave or in the woods; shades of blues, greens and blue-greens that go well with his coloring (though he looks stunning in reds and black); a lot of it made/designed by his mother.  Decorated with beadwork.
Personality/History:  Identifies strongly with being a healer; is competent and good at what he does but suffers in comparison with more powerful, more experienced healers - at least in his own opinion.  Has some self-doubt despite his occasionally overbearingly confident manner and takes the death/lose of a patient hard. Prone to deep depression at times like these. Otherwise is usually sunny, upbeat, cheerful, even fierce in his joy of life and living. He can be sharp-tempered, and he's not as restless as his father.  These mood swings gained him his call name. Has great compassion for all peoples and living things in the abstract; one a person-to-person basis, well... things can get more difficult.  An aggressive 'bust-ass' attitude towards his work might obscure this.
Apprentices as a healer with Nightowl and decides to go live at the Enclave when he realizes he's pretty superfluous at New Hope. Doesn't like many of the healers at New Hope - Snowflower's a spoiled brat and doesn't realize/care she's doing it, and Dove is a little.. condescending, in his mind - and is very grateful and relieved when Servan offers him a place in the Enclave where he is needed and appreciated.
Admires and respects his grandmother's competence and attitudes in many things but find her philosophical bent a bit strange, an interesting but not really practical hobby.  **That bear may have a right to live too but now when it's trying to eat me.** And learned fairly early on to meet Servan head-on if it meant something that was important to him. **And she is one of the worse patients around, believe me.** In turn, standing up to her gained him Servan's respect as did his successful completion of a Silver Dagger apprenticeship.
His average magical healing ability often means he won't be able to 'make it all better' in one sitting.  Or two. Or three.  Has more in common with modern human physicians or Mender that with Leetah or Winnowill.  He may be relatively young but living a community of hunters, animal trainers and weapon users insures that he makes up a lot of what he lacks in years with experience. Having been born and raised in New Hope, he could, conceivably, use learn to his powers to heal humans; however, it's been subconsciously pointed out to him that he lacks enough power to do so. Circumstances would have to be exceptionally strange and dire for him to even attempt such a thing at
Servan's Enclave.
Gainsaying him in his field of experience and/or on his own territory is a very good way to get his back up.  He's not unreasonable but this territorialism can make him difficult to work with for other healers.
